This is an article I found in a site that encourages people to go green. I have read some posts until I saw this one, it is for Asia, the continent I live at for my whole life. It’s written by Lilian, who voices six environmental problems throughout Asia in her writing. The economic policies are said to have encouraged growth in some sectors while ignoring the destruction in others. There is exploitation in certain sectors. Yet, the governments don’t take any further actions to the exploited resources. Ms. Lilian also discusses about the social costs, which keeps piling up and can not be easily-compensated by any rate of growth when it comes to environment.
