I came across an article about using the word ‘I’m busy” as excuses. An executive who called himself as “V” in his blog writes it. What do you think? According to his experience, there are three conclusions he comes up with when someone says that: the person disrespect you, the person doesn’t really understand what he/she is doing, or the person is just unintelligent or incompetent.
I think it doesn’t necessarily be concluded so, but I agree that saying that many times just reflect that we are not a competent one. If a person is not avoiding a task or responsibility, he/she might not be good at managing the resources (time). I personally often use the phrase only to avoid people I don’t like.
