Tony Hansberry a high school freshman from Darnell-Cookman has developed a surgical stitching technique that can lessen post-surgery complications.
Teacher Angela TenBroek said that Tony is an outstanding young man, and she’s proud that the he represents the school. Darnell-Cookman, a special medical school allows Tony to take advance classes in medicine.
Tony presented his findings at a medical conference at the University of Florida before doctors and surgeons.
