Even if “traditionally” the laptops were used muss less for gaming than for any other type of computer use, due to increasing computing power of both processor and video cards, while the quality of the displays was also increasing, the range of games that can be decently played using a laptop has increased.
As for any other desktop gaming configuration, the gaming laptop neeeds increased levels of procesing power, a very good video card and a performant display. RAM and video card memory is also required to be at the top.
Several people asked me in the past months where to buy gaming laptops. I have answered them that they can buy such a laptop most of the times from the same (online) stores that also sell normal laptops. Just read which are the recommended configurations of the games you usually play and then you can also discuss with the consultants of the store or other people you know and ask for advice based on what you see on the market in that period. Depending on what you have found, you may choose one of the laptops that suits your budget and fulfills all (or most of the) other needs that you have.

April 4th, 2012In the past i have been discussing with persons that were involved in various IT tasks, but not programming. Such tasks are: web design, SEO and so on. Some of them were very interested in finding resources to help them learn computer programming online free (preferably but not 100% necessary). For those persons mainly involved in web design and SEO, one of the most useful and also easiest computer programming language to start with is php.
I will try to find some php computer programming tutorials that are available online for free and which i think that might be useful for people looking to learn computer programming online.

Best camera deals online
April 3rd, 2012What are the best camera deals online? This is the question I ask myself repeatedly in the past 2-3 weeks since i plan to buy a new digital camera, smaller, more compact and easier to handle than the older, bigger and more performant camera that we have.
One of the features that I especially look for is 4x zoom. I see some nice deals on Amazon. One of the cameras that looks very interesting to me is Kodak Easyshare M550. It has a 5X zoom and 12MP. It has a very nice look (at least in the pictures).
The price that I see now (3 apr. 2012) is only around 80 dollars which makes this camera, in my opinion, in a very strong candidate for determining what are the best digital camera deals at online stores.
Singles vacations over 40
April 1st, 2012I decided to start a series of short posts about singles vacations. I will try to present my understanding of what singles holidays should be, what possibilities are outthere and so on.
First of all, i understand some of the singles vacations offers are also aimed at certain age categories. I guess I understand why is this: singles preffer to meet singles about the same age. Since some of my friends are and will be 40 soon, my first post will present my thouts about singles vacations over 40.
If you have ever been (almost) the only single person in a trip and you experienced and dealt with situation like this: had to pay the extra charge for single use of a double hotel room, had to spend some of the evenings/mornings alone etc, then maybe it is time to look for travel packages designed for singles looking to go on vacations with other singles. If, in addition, you are a over 40 years old (usually between 40 and 50, since over 50 you go into a different niche of singles vacations) then singles vacations over 40 is probably the niche travel offers are somethign you need to look for.
What i see by reading some specialized websites, one of the best way of finding such singles vacations offers is to join a singles community. These are usually forums or social networks of people with similar age, marital status and maybe even interests. Some of these communities organise vacations themselves or with the help of normal travel agencies. Maybe sometimes is a good idea to look for such community in your area and see if they have something interesting for you.

Affordable Vacation Destinations
March 29th, 2012Summer is close and most of us are looking again for great vacation deal and destinations. As we all know, there are vacation destinations that are in general more affordable than others.
One of the most important elements when trying to determine how affordable is a destination, apart from the destination itself, is the distance between where we live and the respective destination. The distance is directly related with the travel costs. Let’s see some ideas of affordable vacations destinations if we are a family living in New York. I will focus on the summer vacations, especially the seaside holidays.
One of the destinations would be Florida. it is quite close and it has several quite affordable destinations. If we seach well, i am sure we can find some cheap miami vacations packages to choose from.
Another potentially affordable vacation destination is North Carolina. The distance is quite short and there are quite some locations to choose from at affordable prices.
Another way of spending an affordable vacation is if you are able to find a very good deal for a cruise. This way you only need to pay for the travel to the starting / ending point of the cruise and back.

Cheap Miami Vacations
March 18th, 2012I plan to present today several ways of having cheap Miami vacations. Since travelling there is a issue which is strictly related to the distance between you and Miami i will not take into consideration this aspect when defining cheap choices, since travel costs may vary a lot.
What worth to be mentioned in my opinion are some alternatives for sleeping in the Miami area a relatively afordable costs.
I would strat with a 2 star place named Airways Inn and Suites. This hotel is close to the airport. A standard double room here for a week at the beginning of may will cost you a bit over 300 dollars which in my opinion will make it a cheap Miami vacation.
Another more expensive, but offering a 3 star confort is Orchid Inn, off Highway 826. You have there free Wifi and the same week in the same priod will cost you aroud 450 dollar. As far as i can see, you get here not only more confort but also significantly more space.
If you are used to spending your vacation in a 4 start hotel, then Doral Miami InterContinental might be an alternative. Here, the same double room in the same period will cost around 1000 dollars. Of course, the price is higher but also the confort.
I have not personally visited those places, i am only presenting what i understand by looking at some specialised travel websites.
How to raise the number of hear beats

Each person has his passions. Some would like something calm, funny, reliable activities, while others need to feel their hears beating fast !
If adrenaline is your need, then you need some kind of sport or activity that will make you nervous and agitated in short terms. You need speed, risk and action. Wonder what kind of activities you can do near your city, to make this dream come true ? Here are few examples :

November 1st, 2009People perceive music differently. You cannot make a rock lover listen to club music, because he will not find anything interesting in how the club music sounds. Yet again, you cannot make someone who feels the minimal listed to some gothing rock, because the first one may find it “creepy”.
What some perceive as music, some perceive just as sounds. Music has a name, music fires up passions, while sounds are just a way to scratch the surface of blackboard. What`s music for you ?
